Planning a retreat like this?

Everything is going amazing.

Maria runs Prebuď svoju ženu, "Awaken your woman", a retreat for women in Slovakia. In May 2026 she brought 13 women to Glamping Tago for seven nights, from 6 to 13 May, when the fruit trees around the tents were in full blossom.

The brief

Maria wanted a women's retreat in Georgia that mixed rest and practice with real experiences of the country: yoga every morning, painting outdoors "surrounded by mountains, countryside and rolling hills", Georgian food made by hand, and time in nature.

The week

  • Arrival: we met the group at Kutaisi airport with a welcome sign after their evening flight from Bratislava, with a stop for snacks on the way up and our team waiting to help with the bags.
  • Every morning: yoga at 9, outside on the deck facing the mountains or in the indoor yoga dome, taking turns with the other group on site.
  • Painting the mountains: easels in a row along the deck, each woman painting the view in front of her.
  • A khachapuri class: kneading dough and shaping Adjarian khachapuri with our kitchen team, then eating the results.
  • Jara honey: a trip to taste honey from the old Jara hives, back in time for the evening yoga.
  • A lake hike: a full day up to a mountain lake, with lunch kept for them in our kitchen for when they came back down.

A small moment

One morning the group raised the Slovak flag on our flagpole and sent us the photo.

Behind the scenes

What we made happen

  • Kutaisi airport pickup with a welcome sign

Met after the evening flight from Bratislava, with a snack stop on the way up.

  • Yoga every morning, rain or shine

On the open deck or in the indoor yoga dome, shared fairly with a second group on site.

  • An outdoor painting workshop

Easels and paints set up along the deck so every woman could paint the mountains.

  • A khachapuri class with our kitchen

Hands-on Adjarian khachapuri, from dough to the table.

  • A trip to taste Jara honey

Timed so the group was back for the evening practice.

  • A mountain lake hike

A full day out, with lunch stored in our kitchen for the group's return.

  • Their flag on our pole

The group raised the Slovak flag over the glamping for the week.

Questions people ask

What activities can a women's retreat add at Tago?

Yoga on the deck or in the dome, outdoor painting, a khachapuri cooking class, hikes to mountain lakes, a Jara honey tasting trip, the sauna and evenings by the fire.

Can two retreat groups share the glamping?

Yes, when neither group books it all. We split the yoga spaces by time and day so each group has its own practice.

Can we book the whole glamping for our group?

Yes. Groups can take every tent, the restaurant yurt, the sailcloth event tent and the yoga spaces for themselves, so there are no other guests on site. Larger groups add rooms in the village guesthouses nearby.

How do guests get to Glamping Tago?

Tago is in the mountains of Adjara, about three hours from Batumi and four from Kutaisi airport. We arrange minibuses and jeeps timed to flights and trains. The last stretch of mountain road needs our minibus or a 4x4; guests driving a normal car can park in Khulo and we pick them up there.
