About this experience
A full-day cultural tour through the Ghorjomi valley, the heart of traditional upland Adjara. We visit a working watermill (still grinding flour the old way), a village bakery for the kind of cornbread you can't buy in Tbilisi, and a family lunch in someone's home. The day finishes with a jara honey tasting — wild bees, traditional log hives.
This is the slow, generous, conversational kind of tour. The guide is from the area, the families know us, and nothing is staged. People come back from it quieter than they went out.
Good for retreat groups looking for a contrast day. Wedding parties sometimes do it on the welcome day for guests arriving early. Less typical for company off-sites unless the team specifically wants depth rather than activity.
